Biography

Caroline is a journalist, editor and public relations professional specializing in the Australian pet industry. She is also the marketing and social media coordinator for Vets Beyond Borders. She has a Master of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from Murray State University (USA) and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Print Media from Campbell University (USA). Over the past 15 years, Caroline has held editor positions for Dogs Life magazine and Pooch e-magazine, as well as managing editor of Pets Magazine and Choosing Your Dog magazine, and regular writer for Pet Industry News, Better Homes & Gardens and National Geographic Kids magazines, among others. Caroline has also worked as a publicist for pet industry organisations including Pet Industry Association of Australia, PetSure Australia, Australian National Kennel Council, PharmAust and many others. A mental health advocate, Caroline is a volunteer for Pets in the Park charity, which provides free vet care for pets of people struggling with homelessness, and Secretary of the Learning Difficulties Coalition of NSW (www.ldc.org.au).
