Biography
Marina Pavlak is Professor and Head of the Department of Veterinary Economics and Epidemiology at the University of Zagreb, Croatia. She has completed her DVM, Post Graduation and PhD from Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Zagreb. Marina is a member of Croatian Veterinary Association, Croatian DAAD Club, Croatian Epidemiological Society; Croatian Society for Simulation and Modelling (CROSSIM); World Poultry Science Association-Croatia (WPSA-CRO); Croatian Immunology Society and Croatian Society of Agricultural Economists Society for Veterinary Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine. She has published more than 120 scientific and professional papers including 15 handbooks and books for students and veterinarians. She has been a key speaker at various national and international conferences and has delivered guest lectures in Epidemiology at Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Austria. She has participated as leader on 18 national and international scientific projects.
