Caroline is a journalist, editor and public relations professional specializing in the Australian pet industry. She is also the marketing and social media coordinator for Vets Beyond Borders. She has a Master of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from Murray State University (USA) and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Print Media from Campbell University (USA). Over the past 15 years, Caroline has held editor positions for Dogs Life magazine and Pooch e-magazine, as well as managing editor of Pets Magazine and Choosing Your Dog magazine, and regular writer for Pet Industry News, Better Homes & Gardens and National Geographic Kids magazines, among others. Caroline has also worked as a publicist for pet industry organisations including Pet Industry Association of Australia, PetSure Australia, Australian National Kennel Council, PharmAust and many others. A mental health advocate, Caroline is a volunteer for Pets in the Park charity, which provides free vet care for pets of people struggling with homelessness, and Secretary of the Learning Difficulties Coalition of NSW (www.ldc.org.au). Özlem Şengöz Şirin has completed her PhD in 2008 from Ankara University and postdoctoral studies from Mehmet Akif Ersoy University School of Veterinary Medicine. He is Editor in Chief of Journal of Camel Practice and Research from more than 23 years. He has edited many books on camels, including: “Selected Research on Camelid Immunology”, “Selected Research on Gross Anatomy and Histology of Camels”, “Selected Research on Camelid Parasitology”, “Selected Research on Camelid Physiology and Nutrition”, “Selected Topics on Camelids, Selected Topics on Camelids”, “Selected Bibliography of Camelids” between 1992 and 2000. He has edited proceedings of International Camel Conferences held at Germany, Saudi Arabia and Bikaner (India). He has developed several surgical techniques for dromedary camels specially the Interdental Wiring technique for mandibular fracture repair.

Eman Khalifa Sedeek is an Acting Dean of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Alexandria University, Matrouh Branch; Assistant Professor of Microbiology and Immunology; Manager of Information Technology (IT Unit). She has her expertise in Biotechnology, Food Microbiology, Animal Microbiology and Molecular diagnostic Microbiology. She has the first record in Egypt and worldwide for isolation and identification of Trichoderma pseudokoningii Rifai from Egyptian immunocompromised cattle with Mycobacterium bovis infection with international record from Mycological Center, Assiut University, and has been published in Nature Precedings.
